Breaking a Myth in 300 Seconds: To Access a View/SP, the user needs permissions on underlying tables, a myth buster by Dinesh Asanka (MVP), Database Specialist - Pearson Lanka.

Session #3

SQL Stage: The Interview, a stage play depicting a young graduate's first steps into the database world. Starring: Prithiviraj Kulasingham (MVP), Associate Database Architect - Pearson Lanka and Dedunu Dhananjaya, Industrial Trainee - Pearson Lanka, with a special guest appearance by Gogula Aryalingam as the Tea Boy.

The January 2013 meet-up was held at Microsoft Sri Lanka (after we had skipped December) with 57 attendees. The event featured the two SQL Server MVP named Dinesh.

The November 2012 meet-up mainly focused on DBAs and was held at Microsoft Sri Lanka.

The October 2012 meet-up was held at Microsoft Sri Lanka with 47 attendees. The event covered a session for developers, a session for DBAs and a special session on CRM migration with SSIS.

The August 2012 meet-up was held at Pearson Lanka instead of the usual venue. The highlight of the meet-up was the 2nd Edition of Anything-SQL Lightning Talks. We had a lot of support from the folk at Pearson including transport for attendees.
